Come join us at Grovetown Lagoon to lend a hand at recreating Big Bush around Grovetown Lagoon. This is a family friendly event. There is always something to do - planting, releasing plants from weeds, eradicate Old Mans Beard, mulching plants. We will be joining with GTL working bee.
Hopefully planting this time as it was too dry in May to plant. We have heaps of plants needing a forever home.
The Grovetown Lagoon blue flag will mark our start place either at posted co-ords or at the walking bridge back down the road.
We will have some tools available, but suggest you bring gardening gloves and gumboots as some areas are very boggy..
There is a free sausage sizzle supplied by GTL at the end - around 11:30-12:00 for those who can hang around a little longer. Love to catch up with you all then.
A walk around the lagoon is well worth the effort - approx 1 hour ( 3.5 km).
