I've known about this place since I was in high school and it only seemed natural to eventually place a cache here. It is a beautifully peaceful spot in which to simply sit and contemplate the mysteries of the universe. It is a terraced waterfall and both sides are easily climbable by young and old as long as one is careful. This is a very photographable spot so bring a camera!
You can no longer park easily along the side of the road on this cache(the waterfall itself is hidden from view and back in the forest a bit) but there is a very nice semi-hidden trail on the top side starting at co-ordinates N 45 29.104 W075 29.406. It's a culvert at first. Find the trail from here and you can walk alongside where the water(or dynamite) has cut into the rock and eventually arrive at the top of the waterfall behind a protective wooden fence. Follow a path west that horse-shoes east to ground level and this takes you to the base of the waterfall and close to the cache.
Activity in the area is low but please use good judgement when attempting to retrieve the cache. Usually people come by, stare at the nice waterfall, and move on. There is always good opportunity to do a cache retrieval.
Note: Good Gps signal geometry in this bowl shaped area is hard to come by. It is best to look for a strong reading in the clear and make a beeline for the cache.
And... The water's COLD! When placing the cache back in it's hiding spot please cover it with bark.
Cheers!
