Sunken Treasure Traditional Geocache

The caches are near the various trails that run through the park, so no bushwhacking is required or desired. Use one of the trail maps available at the Haw Ridge trails page to plan and guide your search. The hiding place for this cache was provided by the 1993 tornado. The hiding spot is easily seen from the trail, but the cache is not so easily seen. A flashlight might help, lest you stick your hand into a place where you cannot see.
