Tri-Cities 2021 Geocoin Challenge
History of the Tri-Cities

Time: 8am-7pm

Free, family friendly event for new and experienced geocachers.

Spend a day geocaching around the Tri-Cities (including West Richland).

Those who complete the challenge will receive a free Tri-Cities Geocoin. Reminder ~ Only ONE geocoin per household.

Kids (13 and under) who complete the challenge will receive a prize (event day only).

We would like to encourage you all to mask up and social distance. If you are sick, please don't attend the event. Stay home and take care of yourself.
The Challenge will consist of the following:
Four (4) Adventure Labs ~ One (1) per city.
Each Adventure Lab will have ten (10) locations.
You must download the Geocaching Adventure Lab App onto your smartphone/device.
Sorry we do not have smart phones to check out.
To register you MUST do the following:

Register through the City of Richland's Parks and Recreation page: REGISTER HERE. Yes, this step is new and very important! This is how we will keep track of our numbers, know how many coins to purchase, and have the ability to communicate with you all regarding any changes we have to make due to COVID, etc.
If there is one thing we all learned this past year, is how to adapt to constant change. 
You must be registered through Richland Parks and Recreation. Please see link above.
Complete all four (4) Adventure Labs (Total of 40 locations).
Complete the passport.

Richland Community Center, Tuesday, September 7 & Beyond - call for current hours - 509.942.7529
Event Schedule & Food Vendors
8:00am - Breakfast (Ethos ~ Coffee and Pastries)
9:00am - Welcome
9:15am - Adventure Labs - Go Live
3:00-7:00pm - Coin Pickup (Please don't get here before 3pm to pick up your coin. Instead find more geocaches or complete other local Adventure Labs.)
3:00-7:00pm - Dinner (Food Trucks: Miss Tamale, Doggie Style Gourmet & Tropical Sno Hawaiian Shaved Ice)
6:30pm - Prizes (Must be present to win)
Per Groundspeak the Adventure Labs will be live for three (3) weeks. If you cannot attend the main event day, hopefully you can find time before September 25 to complete the challenge.
If we still have coins after September 25, we will change the passport up using Adventure Labs that we have around town.
As usual, only one (1) geocoin per household.
Coins available while supplies last. Coins are not guaranteed after the Mega Event Weekend.
