Geocache Description:

01 May 2021, 09:00 - 10:00

If your map is full of blue question marks and you have no idea how to clear them... Or you have talked to experienced puzzlers and are still clueless... Or if you keep looking at the puzzle page until your eyes water.... then this is the event for you!

This event is designed for those who have never solved a puzzle and have no idea where to start. Owl will go through the basics in excruiating detail and answer any newbie question that gets thrown at her. (If she doesn't know the answer she will throw it at someone else until it gets answered.) There will be handouts and practice puzzles. You will also have the option to hang around and get help with more puzzles.

There is the opportunity to buy good coffee, yummy cakes, and healthy breakfasts to provide brain food.

Meet at Cafe Settabello, 84 Newton Road (corner Hambledon Road) from 9am for a 9.15am start. Owl has booked a table for 20 in a corner. Please post a will attend so she can adjust the booking and print enough handouts.

Old hands at puzzles are also welcome, but will be roped in to help the newbies.
