The Wilderness Center depends on volunteers to pick up trash and debris along the roads that surround the property. The geocaching club tries to host 2 events per year to help out and as a thank-you for supporting our geocaching hobby.
Park anywhere in the lot, and meet us in front of the Prairie Shelter to get your assigned area and instructions. Groups will be spaced out to adhere to the social distancing guidelines.
Trash bags and bottled water will be provided. It is advised to bring gloves and a grabber tool if you have one. A bucket also makes carrying easier.
Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. There is vehicle traffic on the roadways. Brightly colored clothing is a good idea.
