GeoMay8 Day at the 'Mogah

One of the very best things about this activity we all love called Geocaching, is the great geo-mates you make along the way. I've met so many wonderful people, both here and overseas, that I now regard as close mates.

So, to celebrate this inaugural GeoMay8 Day, (well that's what I'm calling it!!), I invite all geocachers to come along and regale us with stories of your geocaching adventures, swap hints on how to solve some puzzle caches, discover and retrieve trackables and enjoy a coldie or three and some tasty tucker, if you wish. A logbook will be available for you to sign.

Details as follows:

Location: The Ettamogah Hotel

Address: Cnr Merriville Rd & Windsor Rd, Kellyville Ridge

Date: Saturday, May 8, 2021

Time: 4:00pm to 6:00pm

Parking: Available in the carpark adjacent to the Hotel.

Dress: Smart casual.

Catering: There is a Bistro for meals as well as a variety of coffees and cake available. Other beverages can be purchased from the bar. To view the hotel's menu, go to their website.

Bookings: We will have a reserved area for us (outside so you may want to rug up) but I will need to give the function manager an idea of how many people will be attending. In your "Will Attend" log, please indicate the number from your team who will be coming along. I will be contacting the venue two days prior to the event with numbers.

Purchases: There is no compulsion for you to make any purchases while attending this event.

I'm looking forward to seeing you there so come along and enjoy the celebrations.

Cheers,

Calypso62

PS - I'm hoping to make this an annual event!
