For those who study such things, April 30th is the eve of an ancient Celtic turning of the "season", Beltane. Today, many people around the world celebrate this as May Day. Labour Day coincides with this date as well. This will be an outdoor event and we will mask up and maintain space. See link to full guidelines below.
People who are close to the land understand that May marks the beginning of the renewal of Earth's energies. They mark this day as the start of summer, the crop and pasturing season. Earth energies are at their strongest and most active. Life begins to burst from below the surface into a riot of greens and blooms.
Come stand in good company of our Geocaching community at this nice overlook . Pehaps we will think about life - all the things we've been through, the life ahead that we look forward to, remember those we've loved and lost - and be present with the life of the day. If you are able, dress in green and don't be afraid to dress up a bit! Wear flowers or a flower crown.
