Greetings,

It has been a while since I first looked at this cache. I can't find any recent responses about maintaining this cache so for the time being it will be archived and removed from the active cache listings. We are no longer leaving caches stay disabled for extended periods of time.

Groundspeak and the geocaching community appreciate your contributions to geocaching and I hope to see this cache back in operation soon. If you can get it back up and running in the next week or so contact me to get it relisted. Otherwise plan to move it slightly and set up a new cache page.

Geocache Description:

You’ve reached the end of the road, if you will. This park is the last (or the first) stop on the Katy Trail.

I grew up in this town, so I thought that it was only fitting that I should return to plant a cache. As far as I know, this is the closest State Park to Clinton. The last section of the current Katy Trail was added between Clinton and Windsor. Since the only other rails that leave town are still active, that makes this the end of the trail.

The cache is very well hidden, and rightfully so. This is a city park, as well as a State Park trailhead. There can be lots of kids running around, so you may need to be discrete when looking for the stash.

PS (If you’re from Clinton, and was in CAPS or FPS you should recognize the pencil- I even broke the clip off for you.)
