Let's meet at the Burnt Cabin boat launch(posted coordinates). We will stage a couple vehicles downriver at sometime during the event to Three Mile Bend Launch. Even if you don't plan to head down the river, please show up to see us off. Burnt Cabin Launch is bigger and will have lots of room for vehicles, while Three Mile Bend Launch is smaller so we will stage a few vehicles downriver and transport kayakers back to their car. 23Peanut has volunteered to assist in transporting cachers back to their cars from the take out point.
A recreation passport is needed for parking at all locations.
Per a local, float time from Burnt Cabin Launch to CCC Bridge is 1.5 hours, and from CCC Bridge to Three Mile Bend Launch is 1.5 hours. Total Float time is 3 hours, but with finding caches consider adding some time to the three hours.
20-30 new kayaking caches will be published the evening before so you can get them on your gps or your phone. Cell phone signal is spotty in the area, so create a list and download to offline data. I want to thank aghudley and bgscrabble for the offer to assist in hiding the caches before the event.
