Every spring, the Gahagan Nature Preserve calls on members and volunteers to help ready the preserve for spring field trips. While school visits are on hold, we still need help to prepare the preserve for the season.
This year the Gahagan event will coincide with the Village of Roscommon’s Community Clean-Up. On Saturday, May 1st, from 9 AM to 1 PM, we will meet to spruce up the parking lot and trails. Breakfast Bites and Coffee will be available at Gahagan and a Hot Dog lunch will be served at 1:00 at the AuSable River Center. Please consider joining in for a few minutes or a few hours.
We will meet at the posted coordinates at 8:30 am for a quick meet and greet and a photo before heading to the Cabin for oour assignments. There is an Adventure Lab titled Margeurite Gahagan Nature Preserve with a bonus cache, and a couple of other caches on the preserve.
