Every year, the City of Menifee, Quail Valley, and Sun City Communities are enhanced by the enormous volunteer efforts during the annual Menifee Better Together Event.
COVID-19 RULES: If you are sick, have COVID-19 symptoms, or think you have symptoms, have been tested for COVID-19 and are awaiting test results, stay home and do not attend. Please respect one another and maintain 6' social distancing and wear a mask. You are responsible for your own PPE and its proper use. There are bathrooms on site if needed.
LOCATION: Audie Murphy Ranch Sports Park. Ground Zero is a parking lot where we can begin our cleanup. You are free to head off in any direction into the park from there.
TOTTS: I will have large garbage and kitchen bags available for use. They will be available in the bed of my truck (gray metalic Toyota Tundra with the tailgate down). You will need to provide gloves, pickers, or your own bags to use (if you so choose).
TERRAIN RATING: The terrain rating will vary from 1.0 to 2.5. You can participate by either sticking to sidewalks, walking inside bushes and other landscaping, or climbing among the rocks.
THE LOG: There will be a log sheet availabe to sign, but it is not required in order to earn your smilie. The logbook will also be in the bed of my truck.
PHOTOS: While not required, please upload a photo attached to your online "attended" log.
BONUS: If you have not yet claimed GC8NEAT as found, this CITO qualifies. You will not only earn the Locationless Cache icon, but you will also receive a special souvenir on your Geocaching profile. This CITO also allows you to earn the Cache In Trash Out®, Season 1 souvenir.
FOOD AND DRINK: Due to COVID-19, I cannot bring any food or drinks to share at this event. Unfortunately, you're going to be on your own.
