WHAT	The Auto City Cachers and the Genesee County Parks would like to invite you to attend our 10th Anniversary Event. The event will be held at the Cummings Center (Genesee County Fairgrounds). This years event will be a little different because of Covid-19 and our restrictions. In order to receive a Event coin all you will need to do is find five of the GCP Event caches published in 2021. The Event coin will only be available to the 1st 75 people or by July 1st or which ever comes first. Please fill out the attached form https://img.geocaching.com/cache/large/a80540ff-6609-44be-bfa2-1cf35b8e7268.jpg and follow direction on the form. Once it is checked we will mail out your Event coin.

WHERE	Everett A. Cummings Event Center 6130 E. Mt. Morris Road Mt. Morris, MI 48458
CAMPING	Because of Covid -19 we have changed this event to a one day format.
Loading GPS	IF you will send your email address to autoCityCachers@gmail.com a copy of the GPX file will be sent to you at 10:00am on May 22, 2021 containing the 2021 caches. If you prefer to have your GPS loaded we will be at the Cummings Center starting at 9:00 am. We will release your GPS at 10:00am. Caches will be published at 11:00am. We will also be available during this time to answer any question that you may have.
Things to know	Unfortunately we will not be having a pot luck this year. There will not be any prizes or drawings.
History	The first Genesee County Parks and Auto City Cachers Event was held on May 21, 2011. This was a one day event held at Abernathy Park in Davison, MI. The next year on May 19, 2012 the event was moved to Richfield park. The option of camping was offered at the Cummins Center behind one of the barns. Year three held on May 19, 2013 was moved to the Cummings Center. Camping was again offered in the location behind the barn On May 17, 2014 this event was held at the Cumming Center with camping offered at the Fairgrounds. This was also the first year that PeePaw + MeeMaw hosted a Bonfire marshmallow roast on Friday evening. This became an annual event which was a much anticipated gathering. From 2014 through 2019 this event continued to be held with this format . Many people seemed to enjoy this event and the camping. We had between 75 and 150 people in attendance. In 2019 the park run was introduced and was well received. Many exciting plans were in the works for 2020 and the 10th anniversary. Then like everything in 2020 our plans and event were cancelled. We have decided that in 2021 we will go back to a one day format. We hope everyone has enjoyed and made many memories at this event over the last 10 years. Let's hope in 2022 everything will have returned to a new normal. Happy Caching and hope you enjoy our mini 2021 Covid-19 event.
