WILLOW WALK-ALONG CITO!

Come on out & help clean up willow creek! As a Texas coastal creek, that means that any trash that gets washed into it will make its way into the gulf, so help us prevent ocean litter!
 

WHERE?

We will park at the Inverness Estates Club House, from there we can discuss the "game plan" on how to tackle the trash, & the lengthy hike! 

WHEN?

Please arrive sometime around 9:00 AM, Saturday, April 10th. We will wait for a while for everyone to get there so don't worry about being a little late if you must. 

WHAT SHOULD YOU BRING?

Trash bags will be provided but you are welcome to bring your own, water, hiking boots or mud boots if it rained. Hiking sticks if you want. Trash grabbers, a pen (duh),  trackables for trading or discovery, & of course, your kind spirits & friendly cacher attitudes! 

THINGS TO KNOW!

We will be hiking roughly ~3 miles as a round trip. You may want to bring water in case it is hot, hiking boots or mud boots if it has rained. The terrain for the event is the average terrain of the hike. It will be mostly flat ground accept for a few spots. Some sections have dirt trails, others are mowed areas around the reservoirs, so minimum bushwhacking will be needed, although there is some in some fairly thorny spots. Wildlife is as abundant as any other place around here, I actually saw a bobcat while I was in this area last! I've attached an image of the path we will hike in a note in the logs as well for everyone to get an idea of what we will be doing.
