Earth Day 2021 is actually on Thursday, April 22, 2021. But I thought by hosting this Event on a Saturday, it would be available for more people to Attend.
Cache In Trash Out (CITO), Season 1, began on March 1, 2021, and runs through August 31, 2021 (Season 2 will run from September 1, 2021 through November 30, 2021).
To earn the souvenirs for both CITO Seasons, all you are required to do is Attend (or Host) a CITO Event during each respective time period.
And for those of us who have yet to log GC8NEAT, Let's improve the outdoors - Locationless Cache, this will be the perfect opportunity to also knock that one out. By logging GC8NEAT, you will not only earn the Locationless Cache icon (if not previously earned), but you will also earn the Locationless Cache - GC8NEAT souvenir!
I have provided coordinates to a nearby parking area, and the walk from there to where the CITO is happening is just over .3 miles to the east. I will provide bags for all participants, but if you prefer to use gloves, handheld pickers, or other associated items, please bring your own. It's still early in the year, but we are in the desert. Bring sun protection, water, or whatever other items you are accustomed to using while geocaching.
