While I was at a bike camp in Italy, I took a ride up this LONG
mountain road that dumps you out at the city of Maser on the other
side. When I arrived at the top, after much huffing and puffing,
there was a beautiful view and a wooden sign describing the area.
To get credit for this cache, look up beyond the wooden sign to
the top of the mountain. There, you will see a stylized cross that
looks like a compass rose. On it is a prayer asking Mary to protect
the town of Maser. You have to climb up to the cross. There are two
dates on this memorial. Send me the dates and you get to add this
cache to your FOUND list. And let me know if you rode a bike up
there. If you did, you are a cyclist worthy of a round of the
Hallelujah chorus.
