Whilst recently visiting this area, I was shocked to find so much rubbish dumped in this valley and surrounding area. Consequently, I thought a CITO in this area would help to provide some beauty back.
When: Thursday 28/01/2021, from 07:00 - 08:00 hr.
Where: Park at Gate 9, Lower North East Road, and walk the approximate 600 m distance to the CITO's posted coordinates.
Rubbish bags will be provided, but please bring PPE, gloves, and wear sturdy hiking shoes.
I have organised with Tea Tree Gully Council to assist with the removal of rubbish, so we will safely leave rubbish bags nearby just next to Gate #11.
COVID-19 mitigations:
- This event will have a COVID-Safe plan lodged with the SA Government (COVID-Safe Plan No. 9258377);
- The CO event host will be the COVID-19 Marshal (Certificate No. 7745537);
- All attendees will be expected to note their contact details for traceability purposes only; and
- Hand sanitiser will be available.
