ANOTHER PALINDROMIC EVENT
In 2020 I hosted a palindromic event on 02/02/2020 at Mascot (postcode 2020).
What a year that turned out to be! For many it was the last event for several months due to COVID-19 and various lockdowns.
A year on and another palindromic date has popped up in 2021.
So come along and celebrate in Centennial Park (postcode 2021).
You can park near GZ, but be aware the gates to Centennial Park will be closed from 8:00pm if you intend to stay awhile.
Come along for some fun! Who knows - there could be another HQ souvenir?
There are several caches nearby to find if you want to find them.
Afterwards, we might go for a meal nearby if you want to join us!
I like numbers and patterns. Even word patterns that make palindromes. So ....
- What better date to hold an event in 2021 than on 12/02/2021
- What better place to hold an event in 2021 than in a suburb that has the postcode of 2021 (Centennial Park)
- You can stay as long as you like. Or as short as you want - 12 minutes, 121 minutes!
- Even the coordinates have groups of palindromes!
- Of course, if you suffer from AIBOHPHOBIA, then this event may not be for you!
EVENT DATE: Friday 12th February 2021
VENUE: Near Charles Dickens Statue, Dickens Drive, Centennial Park (2021), NSW, AUSTRALIA
TIME: 5:05 PM - 6:36 PM
A huge park with plenty of playgrounds, so bring the geokiddies.
Geodogs are allowed if on leash.
Bring your own rugs or fold up chairs. You can bring your own snacks if you wish.
Toilet facilities are nearby.
There are buses and the light rail to assist with reaching the venue.
There should be plenty of parking near GZ.
If the weather looks ominous an alternative location in Centennial Park will be chosen.
See you there on 12/02/2021 at 5:05 PM

Please note: I know we are all keen to get back out to events and have not had the opportunity to catch up with each other after such a long time. But we still need to be vigilant. There will be COVID-19 measures taken to put everyone at ease. Hand sanitisier and wipes will be provided. Masks will be available, but bring your own if you wish to wear one. No food or drinks should be shared. So please bring your own snacks. And try to maintain social distancing as much as possible so we all remain safe.
