Per the Official Blog of Geocaching:
"We did it. We made it. This year brought unprecedented change, but we still came together as a community despite challenges. We adapted by figuring out Zoom to see our friends, geocaching solo, and planning future outings. Even through it all, caches were found, souvenirs were earned, and travel bugs achieved their mileage goal"
Come join us at the new Evergy Plaza in Downtown Topeka at Noon December 31, 2020. The Evergy Plaza is an outdoor space owned by The Downtown Topeka Foundation. The space is large enough to accomdate hundreds of individuals so we should have no problem practicing our social distancing while still being able to earn the Last Souvenir of 2020. This event will be held rain, shine, snow or ice.
There will be no log book to sign this year darn it. Dress warm and let's do our best to say good riddance to 2020.
