After many years of calling Miami my caching homebase, it is time to move to my new base. I graduated from college last year and will be moving to Charlotte, North Carolina later this month to start my new job. I also just came back home from a huge 5 week 11,000 mile 22 state cross country American roadtrip to California then up to North Dakota then back to Miami so I have many stories from that as well!
Here is a picture of me in 2009 just starting off geocaching.
Then here is me in 2021 just recently on my grand American cross-country roadtrip in Arches National Park at the Delicate Arch.
A lot has changed and I've grown a lot over these 14 years but one thing that hasn't changed has been my love for geocaching, the environment, and the outdoors.
Since I am forever grateful to the Miami geocaching community for their help, guidance, and endless support I wanted to host a farewell geocaching event to celebrate the community. I know our trails will cross again but this is just farewell for now!
Come out to Coral Reef Park between 6:30-7:30pm to say hi, chat, catch up on geocaching adventures, discover some trackables I've picked up on my roadtrip adventures, and have a great time! Hope to see you all there. Masks will be required for everyone's safety and social distancing will be encouraged whenever possible.
