Mark your calendars for the 13th annual Gifted Snowbuster - a winter gathering for southeastern geocachers!
(and anyone else wanting to attend)

• Sunday, January 10, 2021
• 3:45 to 6:00 p.m.
• Activity Room at the Waukesha Schuetze Center
• 1120 Baxter Street, Waukesha
• Attendance limited to 95 participants (because of Covid capacity restrictions)
• Volunteers needed for Clean-Up - 6:00 to 6:30 p.m.

Event Includes:

• Chili Dinner (with Mac and Cheese for the kids)
  • there will be a donation box to help offset food cost, room rental and supplies (paper products, plasticware, water)
• Bottled water will be provided. If you want something other than water, bring your own. Alcohol is allowed.
• White Elephant Gift Exchange (bring one gift per participant)
• Special Kids Gift Exchange (bring one gift per kid)
• Travel Bug Exchange Table
• Chance to share geocaching stories from the past year!

White Elephant Gift Exchange Specifics:

• Ideas for gifts
  • a gift you received that just does not suit you!
  • something in your basement that you just do not want to throw away!
  • geocaching related items (ammo boxes, creative container, TOTT)!
  • gift card you have had sitting around for several years!
  • anything so hillarious that it's good for a laugh when opened!
• Wrap the gift or place in a gift bag so it is unidentifiable.
• Bring one gift per person
• Kids welcome and will have a separate gift table with kid-approriate gifts (bring one gift per kid)
• Rules
  • We will use the same format as in 2020.
  • Time limit to make your choice
  • Two choices - take an unopened gift OR steal a gift already opened
  • No touching unopened gifts
  • Only three steals per gift (third steal keeps gift)
  • All opened gifts must remain open and in full view
  • No steal backs on same turn

Covid Specifics:

• We will adhere to ALL recommendations put forth by the City of Waukesha
• At this time, we are limited to 95 participants - meaning those who sign up first get one of those 95 spots.
• Be sure to bring a mask as we will be inside.
• Rather than the usual potluck, Chili will be provided (Mac & Cheese for the kids) and will put out a box for donations to help offset the cost. All food items will be in individual containers to provide for contactless pick-up of items.
