12/18/2020: PLEASE READ CAREFULLY AND THOROUGHLY AND NOTE CHANGES MADE TO THE EVENT DESCRIPTION!
As of 11am Friday morning, the parking area at Everett Leonard in Norton has yet to be plowed. I checked with the Everett Leonard land manager and she was unable to give a guarantee that the lot will be plowed by tomorrow. I visited the site and saw that there was about 8 inches of snow covering the lot. Some cars would not be able to negotiate that.
Attleboro Geocachers Alliance refuses to give in however, and we do NOT want to be the first to have to cancel an event (You can thank us later! LOL) We have therefore decided to change the location of tomorrow’s event. It will now be held at Finberg Field in Attleboro, MA, about 4 miles from the Norton location.
The address is: Finberg Field, 796 Park Street, Attleboro MA.
The coordinates are: N 41° 56.193 W 071° 15.692
The event will still be held from 11am to noon, and if you choose to go to the Everett Leonard property after to search for 6 brand new geocaches that will be published at noon, feel free to do so at your own risk.

1) In lieu of signing a log, please present a piece of paper on which you place your real and geocaching names and phone number. These will be kept by me for a period of time identified below.
2) There will be no food or drink handed out by us. Feel free to bring your own for your own use.
3) It's ok to stay a mimimal amount of time.
4) It's ok to stay in your car and beep to let us know you are here. Someone will go to you and get your paper with contact info.
5) BETTER DAYS ARE COMING. Activities planned for today will take place at a future event. Sorry for any inconvenience.
There will be many new geocaches to find, including a final mystery for which clues will be provided at each of the traditional caches.
NOTE: The Event will be held outside in the Pavilion. THERE ARE NO BATHROOM FACILITIES. Picnic tables are available and can accommodate 4-6 people. Since this Event is outside, it is weather-permitting; CHECK THE EVENT LOG FOR ANY CHANGES AND POSTPONEMENTS.

Safety Matters! As with all Massachusetts events during this time of precaution due to Covid-19, it is imperative that safety measures be taken. Below is the list of current requirements. Any changes/updates made subsequent to approval and leading up to the event will be communicated via a posting in the Event Log.
- All attendees over the age of 5 must wear a mask
- All items must be cleaned/disinfected subsequent to touching them. This includes the picnic tables. PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN DISINFECTANT.
- Do not attend the Event if you feel unwell
- Social distancing must be maintained
- No touching others (e.g. no shaking hands)
- Mandatory contact tracing will take place. Event coordinators will need to collect attendees' names and their contact info (phone number [preferred] or email).
- Attendees' contact information will be destroyed 6 weeks after the event
- Attendees' contact information will NOT be shared with anyone (especially not HQ or a Geocaching Volunteer) unless legally required to do so.
