This memorial commemorates the residents of Budby who were killed or went missing in World War 1 and World War 2 and is a designated Grade II Listed Building.
The memorial is an Ionian Cross made of Clipsham Stone. It was paid for by public subscription including a generous donation from the 4th Earl Manvers. It was unveiled by Earl Manvers on 31st July 1921 with the Hon Rev Robert Dairymole officiating.
A roll of honour was erected in Budby Chapel after the war listing the men from the Thoresby Estate and Rufford Hunt Kennels who had served.
