Geocache Description:

The area in which this cache is hidden could be a little difficult, but it's not too bad. There's one area that is very steep, and depending on how you come in, it could be very overgrown.

This cache is in a .50 caliber ammo box, and is placed in an area where I spent quite a bit of time as a kid. There are all sorts of activities in this area. There's hiking, boating, sledding in the winter, nature watching, swimming, and your normal picnic/park activities. It seems that this area is one frequently seen but not so frequently visited. Please be careful as this is a state park and it is open hunting season...I would HIGHLY recommend wearing something that is "hunter orange". (A vest, or ball cap are fairly inexpensive at Meijer/Wal-Mart/your store of choice, and is a good thing to have during any cache hunting. Although the area that you'll be in doesn't appear to be a very dangerous area.) Make sure you read the first page of the log book, the cache name will then make sense.

We went a little crazy with this contents in the cache, as we wanted to be sure that this would be enjoyed by all. Also, pretty much every item in this relates to our personalities and the things we enjoy, and along with that are items that could come in handy when recreating in this area, or on the way to/from the cache. Please let us know what you think, and if there are any problems with the cache, post it or send us a note, so we can keep an eye on it between regular maintenance.
