Historical Marker located in the city of King in Waupaca County.
A complex of buildings exist in King to service many war veterans both living and dead. I had wanted to place a normal cache in this area in memory of two persons who deeply touched my life for 3 decades but the marker itself somehow seemed a more appropriate tribute. Their services were held at the chapel here many years ago. I think of them often.
While in the area, check out the beauty of the water views. This area is very popular for river tubing in the summer.
