We have been asked to assist Golden Plains Shire by beautifying the Enfield State Park along the Colac-Ballarat Road on Clean Up Australia Day. This is a participatory event . To conduct this event in accordance with COVID requirements, it is very important the following guidelines are followed:
- upon arrival at the posted co-ordinates you must register using the QR Code provided, you will then be given a slip of paper with 2 sets of gps co-ordinates and a set of parking co-ordinates. These determine the area YOUR team will be beautifying. PLEASE park at YOUR designated co-ordinates.
- park at YOUR parking co-ordinates and work in your allocated area.
- once complete, return to the posted co-ordinates with the rubbish you have collected and drop it in the designated area.
We are very lucky to have the opportunity to assist Golden Plains Shire but we must adhere to guidelines.
- a mask is recommended, gloves, a hat and sunscreen are advisable
- a QR code will be available to register your attendance as per Victorian Government COVID guidelines
- please only park at YOUR allocated parking spot
- please observe personal distancing
- please do not congregate
- allocated groups will be no larger than 10 people
- please keep a regular check on the cache page
- updates and notifications will be posted via announcements on the cache page
- please indicate the number of persons in your group in your 'will attend' log.
Participating in this event and photographing yourself spreading mulch at the event will fulfil the requirements of the Locationless Cache GC8NEAT
