Geocache Description:

05 December 2020, 17:00 - 19:00

Our geocaching experiences, one cache at a time.

We will gather at the way point given above. This way point is for Braza restaurant. We will have something to eat and we will have the time to meet with each other. It is not compulsory to order, to drink or to eat anything to log this cache. If you do then your expenses will be for your account. This celebration is a special occasion.

To celebrate the 20 year milestone of geocaching we decided to add some spices into it. Our goal is to ponder a little bit about geocaching. It is not prescriptive and not a requirement to log. If you prefer not to do a presentation then your visit, stories and company will be just as great.

We think it will be great if everyone can prepare a presentation about their geocaching experience. Time to think back to the wonderful and great times we all had. If it is not a true presentation then it could be hand written notes. I will bring my laptop along for the official presentations. We are not going to deduct points or award points. LOL. We need this presentation to be positive and informative. We all had the opportunity to visit the “not so good caches” and we all had bad experiences and we all stumbled upon many things that went wrong, but we want to hear the positives of geocaches, the things that make this hobby great. In geocaching there are more good experiences than bad experiences.

We want to add a you tube video in memory of this event and celebration. Here is a sample of what we see as a good positive experience. Again, you can modify it according to your own experiences to whatever suits you.

Possible presentation frame work.

  1. Team Introduction. Introduce yourself, tell us more about your team, your goals, your real names, are there any other family caching with a different handle?

  2. First Time. When did your team join geocaching? Which year, tell us about which cache it was and your feeling and thinking at that stage and the reason for trying to find the first cache?

  3. Special Caches. Tell us more about your best cache finds, the ones that gave you the twinkle in the eye and a smile?

  4. Milestones. Your best achievement, why is that important?

  5. Newbies. Did you influence any muggle to become a geocacher.

  6. Motivation. Why are you doing geocaching, what make you to go and search for the next cache?

  7. The big ones. Your Mega events, which is the one that you enjoyed?

  8. Objectives and goals. What is you next goal, the one big thing you want to achieve?
