The 10th Annual Udder End of Summer Event
This event is a simple meet and eat at near a local seasonal ice cream place.
• Where: Jerry Russell Trail Pavilion, Jonesville, MI
• When: Sunday, October 25, 2020 from 2:00 - 3:30 PM
Please Note: Due to current guidelines and staffing, our usual venue is operating in drive-thru only capacity. As a result, we are having the event on the "udder" side of the street this year at a pavilion near the trailhead of the Jerry Russell Trail (old rail grade).
Usual Verbiage Below:
Though fall brings the beautiful colors on the trees and cooler temperatures, the latter of which usually means more caching for me, it also brings to a close some of my favorite things. By the time of this event, the fair and festival season will be over, so I have to wait another seven months before I can sample some more of the food wagon's fare again. Even more disappointing is the annual shutting down of the seasonal ice cream places around the area. I figured I needed to make at least one last stop for the year.
So come on out and meet with some of the local (and maybe not so local) cachers, as we invite you to join us for what has become an end-of-summer tradition for the allenite clan. You are welcome to stop in at any point during this time, you don't have to stay for the full time. That happens to be when I will be there.
This place does serve hot food as well as ice cream. Also the seating is outdoors, so remember to dress accordingly. We have held these events through rain, shine, and blizzard, still waiting for sun though.
