Why: To help clean the American Parkway
And receive a FTF for the month!!
Time 8:30am to 9:30am
Please come help clean the parkway, there will be trash bags supplied.
Please DO NOT leave bags on the ground when you are done, but in the trash cans and dumpsters that are around the trails.
We have been given permission by the American Parkway (who was thrilled to have our help) to have this event, but all participants must wear masks, and practice,
social distancing at all times.
There will probably be a waiver to sign as well, I will be just inside the gates, by my car, and hope to get a group shot before everyone goes on their way, with their masks on...
I should have day park passes for that day only on a first come first serve basis,if you need one, please let me know, I can tryo to get a count, not sure how many I will have, there is free parking just outside the main area, or a $5.00 fee....
Please wear appropriate clothing and be ware of your surroundings, there are homeless camps in some spots, which you are not to disturb or go near.
If you park on the outside of Sailors Bar, please take note of the no parking signs, and don't block any driveways.
Always be wary of snakes still and wildlife, dogs are allowed but on leashes.
If you bring small children, please note there are area's with poison oak, and lots of vines and unstable ground by the pond and some by the river.
