Nice little hike but note that the East approach is Private
Property and No trespassing, The South approach is a Cliff so come
in from The West and head up the North Slope. It is best not to go
up the canyon.
This cache is on the North Side of Dry River, 18 miles East of
Bend, Oregon. This is a WELL HIDDEN cache. Park in the dry wash at
the West end of Dry River and hike up the North face. Please log
any misses and I will send you more information if you request it.
Please take water in the summer for this one. I saw a Jacobs Hare
packing a canteen and lunch. Took me an hour to get in (hint)from
the bottom. Watch your footing and watch the fence's. I saw signs
of livestock in the area as well as Mule Deer and Pronghorn. At the
bottom of the grade on Highway 20 near the stockpiles-(hint)- is a
paved road to the North there is a small RC airfield with an
outhouse. At the top of the grade-(hint)- on Highway 20, is a nice
size sign. You can all most see the cache from here. These
coordinates are from an averaging of ten minutes on site. You are
looking for a round cookie tin, about 10" diameter and it is using
natural camo to hide tight. Please put it back as close to the same
as you found it, if you find it. Luck. Disclaimer: "Cut and Paste"
