Geocache Description:



This memorial commemorates the residents of Foots Cray who were killed or missing in World War I (48 names) and World War II (14 names). The memorial consists of a white stone latin cross with elongated shaft on a square pedestal and three-stepped base within a small garden bounded by hedges and railings.


You should be standing on the pavement next to the memorial on a concrete cover with a black rectangle in the middle of it. There is a word top left, ABCDE and in the middle, FGHJ. Convert the letters to numbers in the usual way, A1 etc, and use them to find the 1.5ml magnetic cache at:
