War Memorial #328 ~ Abbotsley Village Green
In 2018 the villagers of Abbotsley came together to plant 2018 knitted and crocheted poppies on its village green. People gathered in true community spirit to remember those from the village who died in the Great War. It had also been discovered that the trees on the green had been planted in memory of fourteen Abbotsley men who had given their lives during WW1 and the villagers unveiled a plaque to commemorate this.
