The Oz Mega Committee invites all Geocachers far and wide to a unique double celebration.
20 years of Geocaching in the ACT combined with our Christmas Event. The date is set for Sunday 13th of December at the Canberra Miniature Railway complex at Symonston. Event start time will be 12 noon and finishes at 2.30 pm.
There will be a huge 20 Year Anniversary themed birthday cake to celebrate the occasion.
The Committee will supply one free ticket for a train ride experience to all attendees on the day, including kids and the family of Geocachers . Tickets will be given out at our Geocachers sign-in desk.
There will be food and drinks available onsite from the train car food van at nominal prices. Plenty of free car parking is available inside the facilities.We have hired an exclusive area, including 2 BBQ's . You are welcome to bring your own lunch, snacks, drinks and your own meat to cook on the BBQ's.
There will be a special group photo against the trains as a backdrop.
A free raffle will take place with all attendees valid in the draw. Ticket winner will also be the official Event FTF winner.
There will be plenty of novelty Geocaching games on the day organised by the Committee.

Some rules : No thongs or open footware .You will be refused a train ride with open footware.Under 3 year olds must be accompanied by an adult on the rides. No dogs are allowed on the premises. No alcohol is allowed on premises.There are plenty of toilets around the complex.
There will be alot of other people there besides the Geocachers . Be early .Allow at least the whole event time for cake, photos, lots of games, rides , socialising and much more.
Food will be available all day from the train cafe,which includes: hot dogs, hamburgers, sandwiches, tea and coffee , and cold drinks at family friendly prices. The train cafe is only 40m from our reserved Geocaching area.EFTPOS is available.
