After having lived in the Chicago area for more than 2.5 years, having learned about the American culture, and having found hundreds of geocaches and many new friends, and becoming a family of 3, our journey has to continue elsewhere. We will miss Oak Park, with its many little, green parks; Chicago and the other suburbs with their many, creative geocaches; as well as all the geocachers we met in the past years.
We would like to say goodbye to our new friends and everybody else who is around and in the mood for a - socially distant - meeting.
We will meet on Sunday, September 20, from 10.30am - 11am. Given the circumstances we decided for a location that is outside and provides enough room for all of us to spread out at least 6ft apart. There is a parking lot right at the GZ, so if someone feels more comfortable inside his/her own vehicle, that is also fine.
We ask you to keep a distance to other people at the event, bring (and wear) a mask and bring your own pen to sign the logbook.
