We all live here in this great state of Texas, and April 21st is San Jacinto day, the day Texas won it’s revolution against Mexico. So lets gather to celebrate the independence of our state! The celebration will be held in beautiful downtown Belton, near Nolan creek and in the middle of several fitting restaurants. Nearby there’s the Gin which specializes in burgers and steaks representing the Texans and Americans, Coronas De Oro which represents the Mexican side of Texas, and Creekside Weigh Station Frozen Yogurt which represents my insatiable sweet tooth.
The planned festivities will be a game of Trivia! The two topics will be Texas History and Texas Geocaching History. The top three scorers will win unactivated trackables! (Scoring will begin at 5:00)
CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR WINNERS:
1st place: winkys - 37 points
2nd place: UTtoTX - 36 points (and won the tiebreaker)
3rd place: Carrot Killer - 36 points
