Hier geht es um eine schöne Ecke in der Natur der Garstedter Feldmark.
Die Moorbek ist ein linker Nebenfluss der Mühlenau in der schleswig-holsteinischen Stadt Norderstedt im Kreis Segeberg.
Der etwa 4,5 km lange Bach entspringt in Friedrichsgabe in der Nähe der Bahnstation Moorbekhalle der AKN Eisenbahn direkt neben dem Lessing-Gymnasium. Er fließt dann in südwestlicher Richtung am Norderstedter Rathaus vorbei durch den Moorbekpark, durch die Garstedter Feldmark und mündet schließlich westlich der A 7 in die Mühlenau. Die Moorbek wird aktuell (Stand 2020) mit einem Renaturierungsprojekt gefördert, welches durch die Stadt Norderstedt in Ihrem "Landschaftsprogramm" aufgenommen wurde. Das komplette Ökosystemim Bachlauf soll verbessert werden und Kleinstieren die Möglichkeit bieten, sich hier wieder anzusiedeln.
Der Cache selbst befindet sich etwas abseits der Moorbek. So muss sich niemand nasse Füße holen oder reinspringen. Um die Dose zu bergen ist Hilfsmaterial notwendig, welches in der Natur gesammelt oder mitgebracht werden kann. Bitte denkt daran, das ihr diesen Ort wieder so verlasst, wie ihr ihn gern vorfinden würdet. Die Dose bitte ebenfalls wieder so verstecken.

This is about a beautiful corner in the nature of the Garstedt Feldmark.
The Moorbek is a left tributary of the Mühlenau in the Schleswig-Holstein town of Norderstedt in the Segeberg district.
The approximately 4.5 km long creek rises in Friedrichsgabe near the train station Moorbekhalle of the AKN railway right next to the Lessing-Gymnasium. It then flows in a south-westerly direction past the Norderstedter Rathaus through the Moorbekpark, through the Garstedter Feldmark and finally flows west of the A 7 into Mühlenau. The Moorbek is currently (as of 2020) funded with a renaturation project, which the city of Norderstedt has included in their "landscape program". The entire ecosystem in the stream should be improved and small animals should have the opportunity to settle here again.
The cache itself is a bit away from the Moorbek. So nobody has to get their feet wet or jump in.
