Geocache Description:


The memorial stands on the western boundary of the wartime airfield of Holmsley South.It originated from the desire to commemorate all those people who had served on the New Forest airfields during and immediately after the second World War. The memorial funds were raised by the Friends of the New Forest Airfields.

The answers to the final co-ords questions were designed to be solvable from the Jigsaw puzzle pictures.No need to go to the memorial if you don't want to stand at the memorial counting things and risk Muggles coming close to unexpectedly.

From the car park we suggest initially walking in a N.W'ly direction to the end of the trees on the right, before heading towards the cache.

Stout footwear will be required most seasons.
