Geocache Description:

Bison tube

Christ Church, Kensington

Church. 1850-1. Ferrey. Rubble and ashlar; slate roof. Aisled, with north-east tower and ashlar broach spire; no clerestory. Nave and aisles under separate roofs. Geometrical Gothic style. Four bay nave, aisles with 2-light windows and short buttresses. Main entrance through north porch. Five-light east window.

Personal Note - I like to create CMs at churches with which I have a personal connection or memory. Being a choral singer, many of these may be to do with singing. Although I've never performed at Christ Church, I live nearby and it is a beautiful walk to get to the church, especially if following the signs from Gloucester Road along Kynance Mews - being hidden away like that means that not very many people get to see the gorgeous building, but equally, the tranquility of the area in central London is a rarity.

To the cache:

The cache is NOT at the posted coordinates. Instead, you will find a consecration stone to the right of the front porch. Converting the number of letters in each word (unless otherwise stated), use the following to calculate the final coordinates (Note, the date is considered line 2, the smaller date is line 5):

N51 29.ABC
W000 11.DEF

(4th line, 3rd word) - 1 = A

1st line, 1st word = B

The month on the 2nd line, converted into a number = C

Last number on the sign (found in small font at the bottom of the stone) = D

3rd line, 2nd word = E

Antepenultimate number on the 2nd line = F

Checksum for finals: 52
