Geocache Description:

15 August 2020, 18:30 - 20:30

Earn a cool souvenir and wave bye bye to the big yellow star on International Geocaching Day of 2020.

 

Bring a comfy chair and find your own personally socially distanced plot of sandy beach and just enjoy the one thing COVID-19 can't mess up...the sunset. 

 

Bring your own beverage or snack and just wave at your fellow cachers [look for my strobe light] and respect each other's space.  Bring a fishing pole too if you have your saltwater fishing license and enjoy the bounty of the sea.  Bring stale bread, crackers, rolls, etc and make friends with the seagulls.  Bring tools to make a sandcastle or bury that special someone. 

 

The event will begin at 1830 and last until 2030.  Sunset is scheduled to happen @ 1932.  Sign your caching name in the wet sand down near the surf.  Can't be signing a virus laden piece of paper now can we?
