Ezītis ir vasaras ciems Olaines novada Olaines pagastā pie Misas upes. {LV} 

Misa^[1] ir Iecavas labā krasta pieteka Zemgalē. Tā kā lielāko daļu Iecavas ūdeņu Velna grāvis caur Garozi novada Lielupē, Iecavas lejtecē lielāko daļu sastāda Misas ūdeņi. Misas ūdeņus intensīvi izmanto Olaines pilsētas un rūpnīcu vajadzībām, tādēļ papildu ūdens tiek pievadīts pa Daugavas—Misas kanālu no Ķekaviņas un Daugavas.^[2]

Upes raksturojums

Sākas Valles pagastā uz dienvidiem no Vaskiem Baldones—Vecumnieku paugurlīdzenuma pakājē, kur augštece regulēta, izveidojot grāvju tīklu. Upes augštece atrodas Viduslatvijas zemienes Upmales līdzenumā, lejtece Tīreļu līdzenumā.

Augštecē tek caur Misas purvu. Upes gultne pamatā iet pa limnoglaciālu līdzenumu, krastos daudzi purvi. Posmā līdz Zvirgzdei upes gultne regulēta. Starp Stelpi un Beibežiem kūdras ieguve un polderi (izveidojušies Lādzēnu dīķi Lādzēnu purvā un Beibežu ūdenskrātuve Staldātu purvā). No Zvirgzdes līdz Plakanciemam tek pa līdzenu mežainu apvidu. Krastos vairākas vasarnīcu kolonijas (lielākā Dzērumi). Lejpus Plakanciema upes krasti biezi apdzīvoti. Ietek Iecavā pie Ozolniekiem.

Upi šķērso autoceļi A7, A8, P87, P88, P89 un P92, kā arī Jelgavas—Krustpils dzelzceļš.

Misa is a tributary of the right bank of the Iecava in Zemgale. As most of the waters of Iecava are devoured by the Devil's Ditch through the Garozi in Lielupe, in the lower reaches of Iecava most of the waters are made up of Misa. Missa waters are intensively used for the needs of Olaine city and factories, therefore additional water is supplied along the Daugava-Misa canal from Ķekaviņa and Daugavpils

Characteristics of the river
It starts in Valles Parish, south of Vaski, at the foot of the Baldone-Vecumnieki hills, where the upstream is regulated by creating a network of ditches. The upper reaches of the river are located in the Upmale plain of the Central Latvian lowlands, and the lower reaches in the Tīreļi plain.

It flows upstream through the Misa bog. The riverbed basically runs along a limnoglacial plain, with many swamps on the banks. In the section up to Zvirgzde the riverbed is regulated. Peat extraction and polders between Stelpi and Beibeži (Lādzēni ponds in Lādzēni mire and Beibeži reservoir in Staldāti mire have been formed). From Zvirgzde to Plakanciems flows through a flat wooded area. On the shores of several summer cottage colonies (the largest Drinks). Below the banks of the Plakanciems river, the banks are densely populated. Go to Iecava near Ozolnieki.

The river is crossed by the highways A7, A8, P87, P88, P89 and P92, as well as the Jelgava-Krustpils railway.
