This will be a flash mob event on Herrington Lake. Yes ON Herrington Lake. You must be in the event picture to attend the event. Event starts at 9::31 am, Picture at 9:55 and ends at 10:01.
After the event, you are free to do as you please or you can join Kimpossible and I for a paddle around some of the lake. The way I see it, there is around 40 or so caches in that area spending minimal time on the main body of the lake. A lot of this area is no wake and should be safe and more fun. I have been told by one of the cache owners, the main body of the lake has lots of speedboats on the weekends making large wakes, which might be scary for unexperienced paddlers.
You can put in where ever you want. The closest put in that I know of is Cane Marina. They have a $5.00 a carload launch fee.
