Helland
A straightforward multi-cache in the hamlet of Helland which already has a Church Micro (GC6ANVD) Cache and a Village Hall Cache (GC6ANRA).
The War Memorial stands just outside the grounds of the pretty little church which is dedicated to St Helena.
The hamlet was mentioned in the Domesday Book and is listed as Henland - it had five dwellings at that time.
It sits on the slopes above the Camel River Valley and lies close to the very attractive section of the Camel Trail between Bodmin and Wenford.
The Cache
The headline coordinates will bring you to the War Memorial where there is room to park. At the memorial you need to obtain the following information:
A = number of names under the word SERVED on one side of the memorial
B = number of names under the word ALSO on one side of the memorial.
C = number of names that appear under the line " GREAT WAR 1914-1918"
Checksum - A+B+C = 28
The cache can be found a modest stroll or a short drive away using the formula:
N 50 30.(C+B-A) (A-B) (B-C) W 004 43.(A-B-1) ((A+B)/5) (C+A-B)

Checksum for all coordinate digits = 40
The cache is a small petling tube - you may need tweezers to extract the log. Please screw the cap back on fully to prevent water ingress.
