Cache In Trash Out®, Season 1: March 1 through August 31, 2020
You’ll be able to earn one CITO 2020 Season 1 souvenir by attending or hosting a CITO from March 1 through August 31, 2020. But, of course, you can attend or host many more throughout the year!
When: Tuesday, July 14, 2020
Time: 7:45 AM - 8:45 AM <-sorry ultrahawg, you can do it LOL
Where: Surprise Park (under or near the covering) ...Parking: is easy on the north side of the Park (Bullard & Paradise La)
Please bring a garbage bag and gloves and WATER. I'll bring some extra bags too. Maybe wear a cap or visor, or bring an umbrella to carry to shade yourself. A grabber might be a good choice if you have one, especially for those of you who can't bend down like we used to. Don't forget to sign the log book. We'll hang around for about 15 min to sign the log and then go and pick up the trash around the park and come back to the start & hang around & chat for a bit and share those geo-stories.
I would have had this earlier in the season, but with everything shut down, I still wanted for us to clean the area and get our souvenir.
*Note: We need to wear a mask at gatherings, BUT if you feel you want to wear a mask while walking, please be careful while walking in the heat. (I suggest we don't wear a mask outside of the group get together, but have it handy). This easy CITO can still be exhausting in the AZ heat.
