L'église St Blaise Traditional Geocache

Cette Église a fait partie d’un couvent des Templiers. Elle fut le seul bâtiment  paroissial lors de l’envahissement protestant à Manciet. Tout ce qui nous reste comme vestige de cette église est une petite fente, meurtrière ? Le mur est d’origine, à côté se trouve une ruelle où on peut voir, adossée au vestige du mur de l’église, une très ancienne remise en colombages et torchis, typique de l’habitat traditionnel du Bas-Armagnac.


This church was part of a convent of the Knights Templar. It was the only parish building during the Protestant invasion of Manciet. All we have left as a remnant of that church is a small murder-hole... The wall is original, next to it is an alley where you can see, leaning against the remnant of the church wall, a very old half-timbered and mud-brick shed, typical of the traditional habitat of Bas-Armagnac.
