SLAGA has adopted a 0.5 mile section of Olive St. (Hwy 340) in west county St. Louis between Spyglass Ridge and Eagle Manor Dr. The CITO group plans to hold quarterly CITO events here, giving back to the community, having fun and maybe even caching nearby before or after. Unfortunately COVID has slowed us down this year, so I am sure our stretch of road can use our help!
MODOT will provide vests, trash bags and warning flags. Anyone over 10 years old is welcome.
Bring gloves, vests (if you have your own), and picker-uppers!
We will begin at 1:00pm for simple instructions but in the interest of social distancing feel free to arrive anytime between 1:00 and 1:30 to get your bag and head out. Please consider wearing a mask, especially if you are in proximity to anyone who is not a household member. There is plenty of land for us to spread out.
Permission obtained from Dr. Flasar, DVM to use parking area. Plenty of parking in back too. Park closest to the vet's office at the west end, which is closed on Sundays, and avoid parking near the other business in the same plaza.
