Picnic @ Peacehaven, Highfields
Woohoo - it is time for a get-together!
Pack your picnic and perhaps a chair and come along on Friday December 11th for a social event at
Peacehaven Park in Highfields from 4:30pm until at least 6:30pm.
Social interactions have changed (as if you hadn't noticed), and we need to be COVID safe (Qld COVID Safe Events info can be found here) . To make this easier, here are the clear expectations of all parties. They are common sense and easy to follow, you probably do these things already every day.
We want this to be a fun, social and engaging event while still being COVID compliant, so if you disagree with or do not intend to follow these simple expectations, perhaps refrain from attending.
Organiser Responsibilities:
- Provide hand sanitiser and access to handwashing
- Choose an outdoor area that allows attendees to socially distance
- Encourage attendees to comply by posting clear expectations
Attendee Expectations:
- Stay at home if you are unwell
- Keep a social distance from those not from your household
- Maintain good hand hygiene
All are welcome. I will not be supplying food or drinks, please BYO. Trackables and shiny round swap items are welcome, we encourage you to keep in mind hand hygiene.
Please register your will attend and include the expected number of attendees in your party so I can have an idea of overall event numbers.
