Calling all Marlborough geocachers, and anyone else in the region at the time.
Come on down to the Clubs of Marlborough on Wednesday the 23rd June for a geocaching get together with a bit of a twist.
Wednesday night is quiz night for me at the Clubs, so with the shortest day/longest night behind us (just) let's celebrate the downhill slide to summer with a catch up!
For attending you get to log one of these fancy 'Community Celebration Event' caches, you get to swap stories, pick the brains of fellow cachers on those pesky puzzles that have been bugging you, swap pathtags (if you bring any), talk about the Mega this year - whatever.

Some housekeeping:
- The quiz is upstairs and starts on the dot at 7.00pm. I will be there from 6.00pm and reserving a table for those that log a 'will attend'. Event starts at 6.30pm.
- Teams are limited to 8 people, so if we have extras we may split into multiple tables.
- I will pay for the entry fee for the quiz ($10).
- Upon entering the building, sign the Visitors Book on the left in the foyer (unless you are a card-carrying Clubs member, of course).
- You don't have to stay until the end, which will be about 9pm. And if quiz's aren't your thing but you want to pop in before 7pm, that is fine. Remember, event starts at 6.30pm.
- They serve food here.
- Mobile phones will need to be inactive for much of the night, be prepared for that.Â
- If you have a good idea for a team name, let me know. Otherwise I will pick something lame.
- I will be wearing a baseball shirt, namely a white one with 'Orioles' across it in cursive orange writing. Similar to the image below. Failing that, talk to the quizmaster (who knows me) and ask him to point you toward Richard.

Community Celebration Events - 2020
