Wednesday, December 29th, 2021 will be the 21st birthday of Contra Costa County's oldest cache, Survival Cache GC108. We'll meet at the picnic tables at 9:30AM, and those who want to take the ~4ish mile hike to visit the 109th oldest cache in the world (as of 11/27/21) can do so. There are also dozens of other awesome caches in Morgan Territory as well to find.
My original plan was to host this event on Survival Cache's 20th birthday on 12/29/20, but I had to cancel the event due to rising cases of COVID in California at the time. I ended up finding Survival Cache on it's 20th birthday, and made it find number 2,000 for me. Read my log here.
Those who log a will attend by 11:59 PM on 12/28 will be entered in the raffle to win the ability to claim the Community Celebration Event Type FTF.
This event will happen unless there is a lot of rain in the days before and/or on the day of the event. If that is the case, I will see how the weather goes as it is closer to event day.
More details TBD as the event gets closer.
