Geocache Description:

Tautas namu atklāja 1970. gadā. Tur atrodas bibliotēka, ģimenes dienas atbalsta centrs, Ogres novada pakalpojumu centrs, ģimenes ārsta prakse, Ciemupes novadpētniecības istaba, kuru atklāja 2012. gada augustā.

Ciemupes Tautas namā noris aktīva sabiedriskā dzīve - Līgo zaļumballe, Ziemassvētku balle, kas ik gadu notiek 25. decembrī, kino, semināri, lekcijas, meistarklases. Protams, ir padomāts par ģimenēm ar bērniem, tādēļ tiem tiek rīkoti Lieldienu un Ziemas saulgriežu pasākumi. Novadpētniecības istaba piedalās Muzeju naktī jau vairākus gadus.
