CARL12 THE RELAX: Saturday, June 13, 2019 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm.
CARL12 is all about friendship as we celebrate 12 years of CARL events in the Lethbridge area.
Welcome to CARL12, the 12th Cache and Relax Lethbridge weekend coordinated by Crossticher and Arvense.
The CARL12 RELAX event is at the posted coordinates. Meet your fellow cachers for refueling, story-telling and prize distribution. We have a picnic shelter, large grassed area and a building in case of rain (does it rain in Lethbridge??). Bring your own lawn chairs and a picnic supper for your family. This is a family gathering, so no alcohol please.
Please post a 'Will attend' and indicate the number of people attending.
RECOGNITION/PRIZES: After super, we will celebrate our successes and share our storiess and some prizes will be awarded. We would appreciate the donation of additional prizes for the event. Please let us know if you have anything to donate.
PARTICIPATION: You are welcome to log the event as 'Attended' only if you attend the RELAX.
LASTING EFFECT: New friendships, new caches in the Lethbridge area & new ideas for caches.
What happens before the RELAX event? If you would like to support the event by hiding one or more caches for CARL12, submit them for approval between now and Sunday, May 31st. For more information or details about the weekend, please send an email to Arvense or Crosssticher .
Name the cache CARL12 (written without any spaces or dashes) at the start of the name (e.g. CARL12 I See You) and hide the cache within 40km of the posted coordinates. As with all caches, they must be in place at the time they are submitted for final review.
In the description mention that once the cache is published it is active and can be found, however, the cache should not be located prior to 6pm Friday June 12 to be counted in the RELAX totals.
In the 'Notes to the cache reviewer' section, you should state that the cache is placed for the CARL12 event and should be published the evening of Thursday, June 11th.
Thur June 11: The CARL12 caches are published around 7pm Alberta time.
Fri June 12: 6pm to Saturday June 13, 6pm: Find as many or as few CARL12 caches as you want:
